These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the coaching services, website, and SMS messaging program offered by LPL Fit, LLC, doing business as The Macro Society ("The Macro Society," "we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services or opting in to our SMS program, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Services Description
The Macro Society offers personalized fitness and nutrition coaching services delivered through our coaching platform (Trainerize), email, SMS, and live calls. Coaching includes program design, nutrition guidance, habit tracking, and ongoing support.
3. Coaching Engagement
Coaching is purchased through your coach's link after a Discovery Call. Engagement begins once you complete the Intake Form. Pricing, billing cycle, and program duration are stated at the time of purchase.
4. Payment, Refunds, and Cancellation
Payment is processed by our payment processor. By purchasing coaching, you authorize recurring charges if your program is subscription-based. Refund and cancellation terms are stated at the time of purchase and in your coaching agreement.
5. Medical Disclaimer
The Macro Society's services provide general fitness and nutrition information and coaching. We are not licensed medical providers and our services do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise or nutrition program, particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, or are taking medication. You assume all risk associated with following our recommendations.
6. SMS Messaging Program Terms
Program name: The Macro Society Weekly Coaching Updates
By opting in to our SMS program — either by checking the SMS consent box on our Intake Form or by texting an opt-in keyword to our designated number — you agree to receive coaching-related text messages from The Macro Society at the mobile number you provided.
Message types: Weekly progress summaries, scheduling reminders, program updates, and coaching support.
Message frequency: Recurring messages, typically 1–3 messages per week. Frequency varies based on your coaching engagement.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details. The Macro Society does not charge a fee for SMS messages, but standard messaging rates from your carrier apply.
Help: Reply HELP to any message to receive support information, or contact lindsey@themacrosociety.com.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. After replying STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages from this program. If you change your mind, you may re-enroll by contacting us or completing the consent process again.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile information (phone numbers and SMS consent records) is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Share your account credentials with anyone else
Use our services for any illegal purpose
Attempt to access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of our platforms
Resell, redistribute, or republish our content or programming without written permission
8. Intellectual Property
All content, programming, and materials provided by The Macro Society are owned by LPL Fit, LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials solely for your own training. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LPL Fit, LLC, its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to injury, illness, or financial loss. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LPL Fit, LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or your breach of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for breach of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to access our services ends, but provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including Sections 5, 8, 9, 10) will remain in effect.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Tennessee.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
